Co2 fire extinguisher works best on Class B and Class C flames. Whereas Class C fires involve electrical equipment, Class B fires involve flammable liquids and gases including gasoline, petroleum, and natural gas. Our offering uses carbon dioxide function by displacing the oxygen in the air, which is required for combustion. Carbon dioxide is also a nonconductive gas; therefore it will not cause sparks that could ignite flammable liquids. Co2 fire extinguisher works by displace oxygen or by removing the oxygen part of the fire triangle. The carbon dioxide is extremely cold when it leaves the extinguisher, which cools the gasoline as well.
